In this three-phase self-therapy programme, designed and guided by Dr Anna Dako, you can learn more about the somatic practice of Felt Thinking in Movement and how to engage and apply it meaningfully in everyday life. The programme is designed to provide you with a toolkit of strategies which you can utilise in your daily life, as well as to help to reframe your mindset so that you a lead a more mindful, meaningful and positive life, while tapping into your own healing potentials.

This training programme in self-therapy consists of three phases, which can be completed either in person or online. Each phase must be completed before you are able to progress onto the subsequent phase. The complete programme will take approximately a year to complete and is open to everyone, with any or no prior experience in somatic therapy work.

PHASE ONE: ON SOMATIC RECEPTIVITY AND CONNECTIVE PRESENCE

In this phase you will be introduced to the methodology of Felt Thinking and the practice of somatic receptivity while walking and contemplating movement outdoors. The phase can be completed through 24 audio guided sessions of walks in your own natural surroundings.

PHASE TWO: ON RESPONSIVENESS AND EXPERIENTIAL EXCHANGE

Phase Two will be a deeper exploration of the Felt Thinking methodology and how to engage with the natural world around on psychologically deeper levels. Through 10 (audio-guided) workshopping sessions or 10 one-to-one sessions with Dr Anna Dako, you’ll be able to gain deeper insight into how to develop your responsiveness and engage in experiential exchange in breath and free movement.

PHASE THREE: ON INSIGHTFUL INTUITING AND ECOLOGICAL BELONGING (3 DAY-LONG RETREAT)

The third and final part of the course will culminate in an intensive 3 day-long retreat, guided and supervised by Dr Anna Dako. During the retreat you will be able to explore the implicit in movement concepts of ethical responsibility, insightful intuiting and processes of eco-somatic integration, as well as arrive at deepest levels of self-reflection. The preferred location and best timing for this remotely supervised, individual retreat will be your own choice, in consultation with Anna.
